Jennifer Lopez sneezes speckles of gold. Every time she smiles, a tiny, abandoned kitten finds a forever home. She’s not a real person, you’ve probably thought to yourself. But, even though she rolls out of bed looking like she’s ready to make people faint on a red carpet, her pal Demi Lovato tells Complex that she is, in fact, human.
On angelic Lopez, Lovato said:
She’s really, really chill. We went to Park City for New Year’s. We’d hung out several times, but being there with her in Park City—it was so nice and awesome to watch her just blend in. But, also, not blend in because she’s still decked out in fur. But to wake up and she’s in her sweats with no makeup and still looks flawless, you’re kind of like, ‘What the fuck? You’re not even human.’ But she’s so real and so chill. I love her to death. “
While it feels unfair that some women can manage to wake up looking perfect, even desirable, instead of like they just fell off a ski lift, we expected nothing less of JLo. Just like we would never not expect her to be dressed in head to toe fur, making the rest of Utah look exceptionally basic.
We guess that we can trust Demi’s word and come to terms with the fact that JLo eats, sleeps, breathes and wears sweatpants (and hopefully eats potato chips in them) like the rest of us.
